Storage Terminal
Indo-Nippon Chemical Co., Ltd. has established a liquid chemical terminal in the year 1986-87 which is situated at Kandla Port (Kutch), Dist. Bhuj. At present it has 10 storage tanks and has a total capacity of 17200 KL. The terminal has facility to handle "A" class petroleum products both for import and export. The tanks have capacities of 2500 KL, 2000 KL, 1800 KL and 250 KL. Indo-Nippon Chemical Co., Ltd. receives liquid cargo from ships which are pumped into to its tank terminal through 8" pipeline.

Operating procedures

Indo-Nippon Chemical Co. Ltd. (Terminal Division) is maintaining various types of records for the operating procedures (Department wise) and the company follows a systematic approach for operation of terminal plant.

  • All procedures for operation, inspection, maintenance (civil/mechanical/electrical), fire fighting/protection emergency preparedness etc. are found available and known to all concern.
  • The operating procedure is taking care of all the safety aspects from all angles.
The persons working in the company acquire experience of over 15 years. They are fully aware of safety aspects of the storage, handling, operation and transportation of various types of liquid chemicals generally stored as Class - A petroleum products.
  • Contractors employed by the company are competent and well experienced in this field.
  • Thorough checking of the liquid chemical storage system by third party inspection agencies/Surveyors, Custom officials and by client representative at a regular interval time.
